Summary

The Ben Chifley Dam Playground is located adjacent to a sandy beach on a popular stretch of the Chifley Dam foreshore, which is southward from Bathurst, and can be accessed off Chifley Dam Rd, near The Lagoon. It is a well equipped, shaded and soft fall grounded playground, but unfenced, so keep a close eye on kids. The equipment includes a baby plus a senior swing, stand on spinner, springer and a play system with fort, two lookouts, monkey bar, flying fox, plenty of climbing frames incl. climbing wall, spider web climber etc., bridge, sliding pole, spiral and regular slide, toddler slide, balance beam and few other toys. Lot of space to run around. There are picnic shelters close by, also a cafe and cabins nearby and this is the perfect place to take the kids on a warm Summer's day. Nice panorama. Toilets, car parking available, too.
