This small playground is located at the start of the Charlestown Recreation Reserve, coming from Vermont Place, where you can park your car. Kids can play on fort with climbing ladder, slide and sliding pole. There's also a see-saw and a spring rider. Bring kiddy bikes as there's a nice track around the playground. You can continue walking on the path which is a part of the Great North Walk track. A bench is located beside the playground and a shaded spot if you bring your own seats.

    Campbell Reserve Playground and Duck Pond is located on Gymea Drive in Newcastle. It is a pretty nice natural and woody reserve with a duck pond. The playground is fenced, shady by trees, soft fall grounded, suitable for toddlers. The play equipment including a baby plus a senior swing and a fort with a tunnel slide. There are benches outside the fence and a covered picnic area with BBQ beside the nice pond. For more joy and experiences there is a bike path through the reserve, kids can ride their small bikes and learn the plants. A quiet place, good for those who love relaxing in the nature.

    A nice park with plenty of space for family picnics. Children have two playgrounds, bike path and a skate park which is on the other side of the parking lot. BBQ's and picnic tables are all around. There are many parking spaces. Open water is nearby, toliets are on the way towards the water.
