A nice park with plenty of space for family picnics. Children have two playgrounds, bike path and a skate park which is on the other side of the parking lot. BBQ's and picnic tables are all around. There are many parking spaces. Open water is nearby, toliets are on the way towards the water.

    This small playground is located at the start of the Charlestown Recreation Reserve, coming from Vermont Place, where you can park your car. Kids can play on fort with climbing ladder, slide and sliding pole. There's also a see-saw and a spring rider. Bring kiddy bikes as there's a nice track around the playground. You can continue walking on the path which is a part of the Great North Walk track. A bench is located beside the playground and a shaded spot if you bring your own seats.

    This playground set on the waterside at Belmont Lions Park on Brooks Parade in Belmont. Unfenced, unsheltered, soft fall grounded, suitable for toddlers. As there is no any fence you should pay attention on the littlies. The play equipment includes a baby plus a senior swing, 2 rockers and a fort with slide, ladder, sliding pole. There is some grassy area for ball games and picnic on blanket, also there are benches, picnic tables and BBQs. Or you can grab some fresh food and drink at the nearby Deck 56 Restaurant. There is a small jetty near the playground and walk path by the water. You can enjoy a refreshing open panorama with the nice relaxing blue color of the water. Good place for family picnics and relax.

    Toronto Lions Park is a nice park with lots of space for children to run around. They can play on four swings (two baby), two forts with slides,stairs,ladders. Lake is very near the playground. There are BBQ and picnic tables (some sheltered). Toilets are a bit far towards the entrance. Parking space for disabled is in front of the toilets.

    A nice playground where children can play on two forts with slide,stairs,climbing sets, flying fox and spring riders. Around the playground are many picnic tables (most set under the trees) and a bike track. Toilets are located at the beginning of the parking lot (with lots of parking space).

    A nice sandy playground located beside the street. It's fenced toward the street but not toward open water. There's BBQ and a couple of benches. If preffered there's cafe across the street that offers different menues and coffee. Parking is available along Wharf St or across the Brighton Ave.
